On April 18th we’re partnering with our friends at Interbrand to host a panel discussion on the challenges that exist to female creative leadership. This talk is also in collaboration with 3% Seattle, the regional offshoot of the 3% Conference. Furthering the larger conversation about creating more female creative leadership, this panel will discuss some of the challenges to systemic change, with a group of panelists sharing their own experiences and expertise. We hope to see you there!
Event Description: Even with recent progress in the gender disparity of creative leadership, there’s still a lot of work to be done to create a positive environment for all female creatives. We invite you to join us for a panel discussion about how you can embrace and empower your network, regardless of your position or authority. Through mentoring, advocacy, and paying it forward, women can help to create the change we need to see. We hope to inspire Seattle’s female creatives to embrace their position and become a more integral part of the community not only for their own careers, but for others around them as well. You are not alone, and support isn’t something you have, it’s something you pass forward.
Our panel includes leaders from a variety of organizations, and they will share stories of their own career path and the community support they received along the way, the efforts they’re part of now, and give general perspective from their own experience. There will be ample time for Q&A as well.
